I grew up in the lakeside town of Manistee, Michigan where I mainly just played basketball and drove around in a Ford Taurus station wagon.

In Chicago, I earned my B.A. from Columbia College and collaborated with friends on a bunch of film projects. About two years ago I moved to California in search of adventures with my girlfriend, Lacy. She's my travel buddy and wife-to-be.
